The rise in trend of online advertising has been enhancing the growth of spending on online advertisements.
As per the eMarketer estimations, online ad spend would see growth worldwide and US would be in the leading position. The estimates were found through analysis of data from various sources like investment banks, governmental organizations, research firms and ad agencies. They also included the analysis of global trends in economy and advertising markets.
As per the estimations, online ad spending is expected to grow 17.2% to $80.1 billion in 2011. However, the US is estimated to make 31.9% of the outlays in 2011 and stands first among other countries in the world. However, it is estimated that Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East are found to face growth in terms of online ad spends. Online ad spending in Asia-Pacific is estimated to be more than doubled from $16.4 billion in 2010 to $34.6 billion in 2015. There would be a triple growth in online ad spending from 2010 to 2015 from $3.7 billion to $11.3 billion.
The online ad spend growth in 2011 is estimated to be 50% in middle East and Africa, and 20% in Latin America, 18% in Asia-Pacific, 17% in eastern Europe and 12.5% in western Europe. However, they are not expected to reach the share of outlays of the US.
