Exposure at Auto Shows Benefit Several New Cars

Exposure to the auto shows has boosted the searches of several popular cars on AutoTrader.com in January 2010 compared to last year. Many changes have been resulted such as Mazda 3 reached to no.14 in January 2010 from no.74 in January 2009 on the list of most-searched new cars after being exhibited at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.

After getting exposure at Los Angeles International Auto Show or North American International Auto Show, many new models from brands like the Hyundai Sonata, the Ford Focus and Fusion, and the Chevy Cobalt made major jumps. According to AutoTrader.com there was no impact on car buyers’ searches for Toyota vehicles in December 2009 even after the company’s recalls last year.

AutoTrader.com scored another record traffic month, hitting 15.98 million unique monthly visitors mainly due to more interest shown by people due to car shows. Auto shows help shoppers find different models, prices, financing terms or other specials useful in purchasing process.
